Thanks Georgios
To admit additional partners, we should start decreasing the core team budget, as 150K is already pretty low for all old industry (in QSNP1) and new partners (both industry and academic).
The other option is not to add anyone anymore and ask all of the partners 150K assignment to confirm that they have to be prepared to add matching funds and tell use which tasks they will contribute to and how. To this end we can share a draft of WP descriptions.
If I do not hear back from you soon, I will make a decision as we need to close consortium asap and move on to the writing.

I had a phone call with Diego (who is in Canada right now).

We agreed that Creotech is more something for an advisory board role.

We also discussed about SURF.

SURF would be a very nice candidate for test beds. They are also interested in test beds going beyond QKD.

So we thought we could offer SURF a partner role with some reduced budget and we could use their experience in network

testing.

We were contacted by Wojcjech Kozlowski regarding SURF, but did not find a suitable date for discussing their potential contribution online. I hope we will be able to do so this week.



I am not aware about any contact from Creotech, apart from the initial e-mail Marie-Christine sent.



As you know, I am very much in favor of incorporating SURF, as I believe they can contribute to the experimental environment we plan for WP8 and constitute a strong link with the GEANT REN infrastructure. I am not that sure about the differential contribution of Creotech and would tell them to apply for the eventual open calls QSNP2 might launch.
