Dear Sylvester,

 From CSIC, we have sent Liz a proposal for a course on the theory and 
fabrication of integrated photonic components, which is more in line 
with our experience and expertise. However, we believe that a course on 
characterisation and reliability would be of great interest in terms of 
defining structures and chips to verify the technology and components. 
We could help to identify the topics that are of most interest to us, as 
well as jointly define the course objectives and scope.
