Below you’ll find key communication reminders, an urgent request for visual materials tied to our upcoming presence at SEMICON and EFECS, and a note on partner information forms and guidelines we’ll share shortly.

1) Communication reminders

A kind reminder that all partners should mention PIXEurope in any communication related to Pilot Line activities.

To ensure consistency, compliance with funding obligations, and smooth coordination among partners, please use the official PIXEurope logo, fonts, and templates available on our SharePoint:

Please note that we are preparing communication guidelines for the consortium, providing a framework for external and internal communication, helping to maximise project visibility, coherence, credibility, and impact. These guidelines will also include a protocol for approvals and information flows, clarifying which communication items require prior review or official endorsement. A first version will be shared soon.

2) Urgent request – photo/video materials for event booths

Following invitations from CHIPS JU, PIXEurope will be represented at two major upcoming events, and we urgently need high-quality visual materials that showcase your work and contribution to the Pilot Line.


  *   SEMICON Europa 2025: 18-21 Nov - PIXEurope will be part of a joint booth with other Pilot Lines, Competence Centres, and the EU Chips Design Platform.
--> Ana will contact you shortly to coordinate our booth presence schedule
  *   EFECS 2025: 3-4 Dec - PIXEurope will have its own small booth with a screen, next to other Pilot Lines.
--> We’re currently confirming with the MCT who will represent PIXEurope during the event.

To support our presence at both events, we are producing a short introductory video (approx. 1–1.5 minutes) featuring general background footage and text overlays about PIXEurope. (Example video style see here<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wqq_pvdvEUw&list=PL52eYZ21uXgYvFNjve2NVvXF1Uah1ABMg>). The video must be finalised by 17 November, which means we have very limited time to collect and edit the materials.

I therefore kindly ask you to share with me as soon as possible (ideally this week – by end of next week at the latest):

  *   High-quality photos of your work in action (e.g. labs, cleanrooms, prototypes, close-ups of photonic chips, or teams at work).
  *   High-quality video footage showing your facilities, activities, photonic chips, or demonstrators - suitable as general background visuals for the introductory video.

  *   Confirm that materials are approved for public use by PIXEurope (website/events/social media), providing credit line if necessary. Please note, that these materials may also be used on the PIXEurope website and other communication materials.

3) Coming soon – partner information forms

In the coming days, I will circulate two short forms to collect essential information for the PIXEurope website and promotional materials:

  *   Organisational Information Form: basic details about your organisation
  *   Team Member Information Form: individual details about consortium team members

This information will feed the PIXEurope website, promotional materials and will help ensure that all partners are accurately represented across PIXEurope’s communication channels and materials. We’ll also ask for your communications point(s) of contact to streamline coordination.
