Dear WP7 partners,
Thank you for joining the WP7 meeting yesterday.
The slides presented during the meeting can be found in the shared folder<https://icfo.sharepoint.com/:p:/r/sites/PIXEurope/Shared%20Documents/WP7%20Packaging/02.%20Meetings/2026.04.21%20-%20Monthly%20Meeting/2026.04.21%20-%20PIXEUROPE_WP7.pptx?d=w96fbbac7490d4a52a20f67bf37b19246&csf=1&web=1&e=Ag5Tdr>. Thank you to all partners for the updates, it was good to see the progress across the tasks.
Jessica and Roi, could you please send me your slides and I will upload them to the folder as well.
The next WP7 monthly coordination meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 19th May at 10:00 Irish time/11:00 CET. However, this may need to be cancelled or rescheduled given the General Assembly taking place the following day and expected travel commitments. I will confirm this shortly.
In the coming days, we expect to receive guidance on the WP7 presentation for the General Assembly. Once this is available, I will ask all Task Leaders to provide a small number of slides covering key updates. In the meantime, it would be appreciated if you start to prepare highlights of your work to date in this WP.
A significant part of the discussion focused on the links with T7.1. As discussed with Jessica, this is an area where we need further clarity ahead of the May meeting. In particular, the discussion covered:
* how software approaches will be standardised across tasks,
* how the design and modelling activities under T7.1 will be coordinated and managed across the WP,
* how support will be provided to partners across tasks, particularly for thermal design,
* how the current subtask structure and work breakdown align with the other tasks,
* and the timing of T7.1 activities, which are important for enabling progress in other tasks where design work should begin while waiting for equipment and materials.
Jessica, you also mentioned that you would be updating your slides with more detailed information linked to some of the above points. Could you let us know when these might be available, so we can ensure the shared folder and minutes are updated accordingly.
It was suggested that IMDEA could organise a dedicated meeting to outline and discuss the plans for T7.1 in more detail with the relevant partners. Given the number of open questions, this would be important to help bring clarity ahead of the General Assembly.
If there are additional points or questions related to T7.1, or for other tasks, that were not captured here, please feel free to share them so we can consolidate and address them ahead of the next meeting.
Thanks again to everyone for the engagement and updates.
Kind regards,
Padraic

Dear WP7 partners,
Just a quick reminder of our WP7 meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 21st April at 11:00 CET (10:00 Irish time).
As mentioned previously, I would appreciate if each task leader could prepare an update covering:
* Subtask breakdown
* Current status
* Next steps and priorities
Please keep this high level and within 1 to 3 slides per task, using the shared template where possible.
If you have your slides ready, it would be helpful to send them on in advance.
Thanks everyone.
Kind regards,
Padraic

Subject: PIXEurope WP7 – Reminder for next coordination meeting
Dear WP7 partners,
Ahead of our next WP7 meeting on Tuesday 21st April at 11:00 CET (10:00 Irish time), I would like to ask each task leader to prepare a short update on their task.
As discussed previously, the aim is to capture a clear view of:
* subtask breakdown
* current status
* next steps and priorities
To help streamline the inputs and keep things consistent across tasks, I have attached a simple slide template that you can use. The update should be kept high level and limited to 1–3 slides per task.
At this stage, aligning on the subtask structure is quite important, as it will help us clearly define the scope of each task and manage activities and interfaces across WP7. I know this has largely been done across the different tasks already, but it would be good to have a refined and updated view. As discussed in previous meetings, this does not need to be detailed, but 1–2 bullet points describing each subtask would be very helpful.
It would also be useful to start shaping these updates with the General Assembly meeting in mid-May in mind. In particular, this means clearly capturing what has been completed to date within each task, so that we can present a consistent view of progress across WP7. This does not need to be overly detailed at this stage, but having a clear baseline of activities will make it easier to build and refine the overall update ahead of the meeting.
Please send your slides in advance of the meeting if possible, and feel free to reach out if anything is unclear.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Padraic
