It is interesting. However one should read carefully co-funding conditions and other constraints related to soverignity.

Among the various constraints attached to it, there is one that reflects our discussion yesterday, that I invite you all to read:

"The granting authority (Chips JU) may, up to 4 years after the end of the action, object to a transfer of ownership or to the exclusive licensing of results, as set out in the specific provision of Annex 5 of the Model Grant Agreement for Horizon Europe."

With Sergi and Noelia, we are preparing the table on IP and cost/pricing models for Open Access, which we will share soon.

I believe this document may be of interest to you. Most of you are
probably already aware, but just in case, Chips JU is promoting a call
aimed at reinforcing Europe’s strengths in photonics within the IA
framework: IA Resilience FT2 – Call for Reinforcing Europe’s Strength in
Photonics.
I have attached the relevant documentation. Slide number 17 provides a
clearer description, and I think it is directly related to the pilot
activity. This is just to make sure we are all aware that this
initiative is underway and to keep it in mind to be linked in future as
the project evolves.
