Dear All

Tomorrow is bank holiday here. Sorry for not realising before.

I propose we cancel the meeting and you get in touch with me for any urgent matter.

Meanwhile I share a few salient things and invite WP Leaders to write a short update on their WP:

WP1+WP2 (HE+DEP):

  *   We have been hiring the PL managers, only two are missing. We will circulate soon a document to present the Pilot Line Management and Coordination Team (PL-MCT) that should help implement the strategy and decisions made by the Steering Committee and General Assembly.
  *   The call for tender to subcontract part of the management via ICFO's budget is now closed. It will be awarded soon. Please note the subcontractor will assist the PL-MCT but will not be ultimately responsible for the Management and Coordination. ICFO is and will execute through PL-MCT, also involving other RTOs where some PL Managers are located (TNI, TU/e, CSIC).
  *   We are having periodic meetings with other Pilot Lines to share common challenges. So far, not significant things to report. I will update you in due course when I have more to say.
  *   We are organising PIXEurope presence at Semicon Europe in Munich. PL-MCT will meet in person, also with PO, a booth between Pilot Lines is being organised, a Chips JU event introducing the Pilots, Kevin and Peter giving talks.

WP3 (HE):

  *   CSIC and ICFO have met and are building a proposal for recording of equipment procurement, installation, acceptance and operation. Carlos can explain more here.

WP3 (DEP)

  *   TU/e and ICFO are preparing a few examples of end-user entry form for collaborative projects (the way we start Open Access), as partners have received quite a few number of requests. We will then need to approve template and information. Once this is done, we will share with Chips JU (I have already informed the PO we are doing this and likes the idea). Kevin can explain more here.
WP7

  *   APECS and PIXEurope are defining potential areas of collaboration. Likely we will start with Interposer and CPO. We still need to define activities and how to fund them. Peter can complement here.

Chips Act 2
CEA-LETI have proposed some ideas and, as you have probably heard, Chips JU has opened a survey. We will need to coordinate to make sure we provide coherent inputs. This is important for the sustainability phase of our Pilot Line (2020 and beyond).
