[Pixeurope-mct] Chips Joint Undertaking at SEMICON Europa 2026 - PIXEurope participation

We have received the email below from Chips JU regarding our participation in SEMICON. As mentioned during the last MCT meeting, Chips JU has already confirmed that we will be representing PIXEurope at their booth alongside the other Pilot Lines, as we did last year.

We would like to take this opportunity to organise an in-person MCT meeting, as we expect many members of the consortium to attend given the importance of the event. The meeting is planned for the morning of Thursday, 12 November. Further details will be shared closer to the date.

As indicated in the email, we recommend that you start making the necessary travel arrangements as soon as possible, as demand for flights and accommodation during these dates is expected to be high.

I hope this message finds you well.



We are pleased to inform you that the Chips Joint Undertaking will once again be actively present at SEMICON Europa 2026, co-located with Electronica.



The event will take place from 10–13 November at the Trade Fair Center Messe München, and we are keen to build on and further enhance the very positive experience we shared last year.



The winning formula “joining our forces to showcase the Chips JU programme and ambitions” is confirmed. So, we are pleased to invite the five current Pilot Lines, EuroCDP, aCCCess, and Industry Associations (AENEAS, EPoSS, and INSIDE).



Should there be any update, please share with the Chips JU Communications Team (in cc) the latest version of your logo and slogan.



Representatives of each entity are expected to be present at the Chips JU booth throughout the event to provide information and engage, together with Chips JU officials, with public and private stakeholders visiting the stand.



No additional financial contribution is required from your side. However, we will need to work in a coordinated manner to ensure full consistency in our joint presence (please confirm your kind availability asap).



In due time, we will organise a teleconference to further outline the Chips JU plans. The aim is to also have dedicated sessions in both Tech Arena and Executive Forum. Any contribution to secure such spots is much more than welcome.



Furthermore, as a practical recommendation, please arrange your accommodation as soon as possible, as hotel prices are already increasing.
