[Pixeurope-ga] PIXEurope coordination on events – Action needed from all partners

Dear all,

First of all I’d like to wish you a happy new year! As we look ahead to 2026, we would like to coordinate PIXEurope’s presence at key international, national, and regional events. To support this, we have set up a shared Events Calendar in SharePoint<https://icfo.sharepoint.com/sites/PIXEurope/Lists/Events%20Calendar/>, where you can indicate planned attendance, speakers, and exhibition plans, so we can coordinate efforts and maximise visibility.

Actions required:

  1.  Update the Events Calendar with the national/regional (in your area or nearby countries/regions) as well as international events you plan to attend in 2026 and beyond.
--> If you prefer, send us the details (event link + 2–3 bullets on relevance + planned participation, e.g. talk/presentation, booth, meeting, etc.) and we will add them for you.

National/Regional events are particularly important for stakeholder engagement, and where possible we encourage a proximity-based approach (nearby partners representing PIXEurope on behalf of the consortium).
Examples of relevant national events in Spain with foreseen representation from our side include:
·       23-25 Feb - Photonics Integration Week (Valencia): https://piw.webs.upv.es/ - Attendees: UPV, ICFO, CSIC, UVIGO
·       Mobile World Congress (Barcelona) – Attendees: ICFO

  1.  Check the available promotional materials in SharePoint:

  1.  If you need tailored support for event materials, please email me well in advance with the event(s) where you will represent PIXEurope and what you need from our side.


  1. A quick tip: We recommend updating your Dissemination & Communication entries monthly to save time and avoid having to reconstruct everything at year-end for the annual report.
