Dear Professor Pruneri,

ICFO coordinates PIXEurope and manages the central Gateway through which end users access the pilot line. On pilot lines with one access point across many partner sites, design and tape-out data often moves between tools by hand.

Hopline is an engineering company working on scientific software and research data infrastructure. We are currently working with the Italian Centre for Astronomical Archives (IA2) on optimising their research software, and we take this on as fixed-scope projects.

Is design automation something PIXEurope plans to address this year?

Best regards,
Khushiyant
